Payment - You may pay your tuition by check, credit card or through PayPal™. Berths for your selected trip may be held with a $1000 deposit that is fully refundable until the voyage is confirmed. At confirmation or 2 months prior to scheduled trip the remaining balance is due. After confirmation the payments received become non refundable as comittments have been made for charter of vessels, and permit applications made. If you need to make alternate payment plans, please contact the office directly.

Passports - A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining by completion of trip is required for all students. The trip price includes ferry and other transfer fees, departure taxes, and all food and lodging cost once at the LeaderSail Base. Tuition does not include airfare from home to LeaderSail point of embarkation.

Extra Expenses - Tuition includes the cost of all study materials and books, navigation training tools, charts and instruments, consumable supplies used during training and LeaderSail T-shirts. Tuition does not cover student discretionary spending money, or the cost of additional insurances for trip and medical while overseas.

Equipment - All non-personal equipment necessary is provided with a few exceptions. Students will be required to have a light weight sleeping bag and soft sided backpack or duffel bag, headlight with red and white LEDs, and sailing gloves. Mask, fins and snorkel are provided. However, if a student wishes to bring their own snorkel or fishing gear, they may at their own expense. Sunscreen with minimum SPF-30 is provided on all boats for every student to use.

Registration Package - A full registration package with all required forms, detailed trip information, training materials, a detailed list of required clothes and equipment required for the trip will be forwarded upon receipt of the deposit and confirmation of online application.
